Lines of Credit Cash, HELOC or Creating Money from Thin Air?
Paying Bills includes the Line of Credit. How do I get a Line of Credit? How do I repay the huge Line of Credit I
already spent with nothing to show for it? Am I obligated to repay the Line of Credit?
The Line of Credit was a handy Bank invention to facilitate the needs of their best
Customers –and of course to make some profits. Now Clever lawyers have deemed this an illegal bank activity. The Line of Credit became popular
before electronic funds transfers, before the Debit Card, perhaps, even before the Credit
Card became so immensely popular. It started as secured Credit at first. This was one
way that the banks allowed favored Customers to have access to money. So you had a
Term Deposit at the bank because you had Assets and a good Credit History. So, the bank would
issue a Line of Credit to you. That way, you would spend from your Credit without having
to go back to the Loan officer. The credit would also be issued because of the equity in
your home, also considered an asset. This is the famous Home Equity Line of Credit, HELOC. On a home free and clear of any mortgage, the bank would issue a line of
Credit up to 50%, -even may be 75% of the value of the home. The problem is this could set back the mortgage freedom plans big time. Gradually, the Line of
Credit program became more flexible to include unsecured lines of Credit.
Just for being a good,
regular Customer with good Credit, many a bank would now give you a Line o Credit at
rates below Credit Card Charges.
The Line of Credit can be a good thing and it can be abused. You could spend that
money to enhance your lifestyle, and create Bad Debt. Or, you could use the Line of
Credit to improve your Cash Flow and your wealth and create Good Debt. That is why
we prepared the Consumer Wealth Report to guide Consumers not just on issues of debt,
but on issues of wealth creation as well. Despite pleadings of my Board to sell the Report
at a handy fee, I have opted to give it away free for a limited time in order to assess
Customer feed back. If you would like a copy, you must act immediately to request it. Don't put your early mortgage freedom at risk.
If you wait to late, to act, you might have to request Coaching and Counseling on these specific issues, but at a fee.
Vacations, Entertainment and Household Budget Bills
How Do I pay for Vacations, Entertainment, and Food with the least costs? How do I manage the Household Budget?
Let's focus here on the household budget because these are obvious
consumable items. Above a basic level of necessary human needs, many of thse expense items are discretionary. You can decide to scrimp and save or to live the lavish lifestyle. These are the most tempting of all expenditures in paying your household bills.
Everyone loves a sunny, snorkeling
vacation, dinner and a movie or a night out dancing. When the bills come, too often we
have no plans to pay. What are some of the secrets to paying those bills?
